1978 Ford F-150 4x4 Short Bed

Up for sale is a very clean, ery original 1978 Ford F-150 4x4 short bed. I have several of the '78 and '79 trucks and Broncos and this is by far one of the nicest four wheel drive trucks that I have seen or owned, specially for a short bed. I have owned this truck for over three years now and have used it as my shop truck every day. Everything works as it should, ven the 4wd indicator light on the dash and it is driven daily. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. I have receipts for the transmission (C6) and transfer case that were professionally rebuilt about 2 years ago. The rear driveshaft was replaced at the same time. The transfer case is full time four wheel drive, ut the hubs have been changed to allow part time operation. The tires are less than a year old and have about 70% tread left. The engine runs great and is all stock with the exception of the valve covers and headers. The majority of the black paint appears to be original, lthough I think that the silver was added at a later date. The truck seems to have originally been all black. The only flaws on the truck other than the 37 years of rock chips, mall dents, nd scratches, re one rust hole the size of a dime in the lower rear of the quarter panel and it would appear that the driver's side cab corner was patched at one time (see pictures). All of the floorboards, rip rails and inside bed are very solid. It is not a factory A/C truck and it does not have a radio in it. The seat is in good condition but the vinyl has torn at several of the seams. The cushions are still in great shape, s are the the door panels, arpet, nd dash pad. I have the original title for the truck as well as the original owners manual. This is really a great truck that is awesome just like it is or could very easily be restored to like brand new. It is very hard to find a four wheel drive short bed in this good of condition, specially at this starting price. I am listing the truck with no reserve so it will sell.
