Here it is! A Original Wisconsin bought(and still surviving) 1950 Cadillac Series 62. I am the third owner--bought new at Kvan Cadillac in Milwaukee WI. I have original underhood id card with delivery date, ealership, nd purchasing customer with address. Mileage is original, aint is original, can find6 things replaced:
Battery
Voltage Regulator
Fuel Filter
Tires
Master cylinder
Carpet
Tires have port a wall whitewalls over radial tires, ar runs and drives well, ransmission is great, ipers work as well as vacuum wipers do, ll lights work inside and out, oors do not sag.
There is some corrosion on the chrome and some pitting as well as on the body but no rust through--everything is surface on the body, hrome has a couple holes but best of all--it is a complete car!! Floors were patched many years ago--only could tell when I did the carpet--very professional job. I did a minor patch at the front of the rear wheel well(very small--could have fixed with seam sealer but a patch in combination with sealer seems better) trunk is solid
have original windshield washer bottle but it is not installed
Seats have fitted covers on them--cloth underneath is worn and stained
One wheel skirt missing(this area has some rust and a mount is gone hence the skirt went with it)
paint is shiny but pitted(awesome original patina)
red dash highlights have been repainted by previous owner
has optional interior heater but it is inoperable
radio is inoperable
What is needs:
gas tank cleaned--there is something in there that clogs the fuel inlet--blowing on the line clears it and that is how I have been driving it--I do not like dropping tanks
defroster blower works but needs to be hooked up again to interior switch(I didn't do because I do not see where to reattach and I do not want to butcher up any original wiring as it is still in a good state of repair)
In indoor storage right now as it has always been kept since new--car does show its mileage though--it was a daily driver for many years with the original owner--second and third owners only on nice days
