1965 Volkswagen Beetle Base 1.2L

1965 Beetle, ostly complete. This beetle was taken apart by my friend some time ago, or rust repair, ody work, osmetics, artial restoration, owever due to unforeseen circumstances was unable to finish his goal. The passenger rear section of floor was replaced, believe where the battery goes, m not a Volkswagen guy so please allow me to make my best estimation. The car did and was running prior to him disassembling the bug. The front and rear glass are out of car, nd will need new seals for installation, ppears to be original glass with VW markings, ll glass good. Also I believe this is a 6 volt battery system, o I did not attempt to start it, s I only have 12 volt batteries on hand, otor does turn freely however, nd appears to be in its original state. I have the original key to ignition and door. The car is mostly solid, ith the exception of the rear passenger side floor pan, nd also some rust on passenger side of body, here the rocker/ running boards are. fenders were off the bug prior to me acquiring this, owever I have attached the fenders with a few of the bolts for reference in pictures, lso lights the same thing attached for reference. All of trim pieces are with car, ouldings, nd other pieces of interior trim. Seat frames are good and solid, ill need upholstered.What I believe to be missing is the front/rear bumpers, attery, unning boards, nterior door panels, nd also the headliner. The fenders will need to be body worked, ut there is no rot or tears/holes in metal, ith the exception of passenger rust areas, he rest of car is solid. the transmission shifts as it should and emergency brake function. My friend wanted to get this thing in tip top shape.He purchased a brand new set of polished aluminum wheels, hich are also included in this auction, rom California Imports for this, ires never mounted. This car needs a competent individual/professional, ho can take this to its next level and preserve its existence for years to come. Reserve is low considering the age of this bug, nd the 600 dollar set of aftermarket wheels that will be sure to put some attitude and style into the equation.
