I hate to do this but it is time for me to sell my 2009 Nissan GTR. This is the second GTR that I have owned and anyone looking for these cars know what they are and what they are capable of. I purchased this GTR from a fellow professional golfer friend of mine. It had about 5000 miles on it when I purchased it in 2011. It currently has just under 19000 miles on it now. Im only selling it because my kids have grown up and as much as it is a "practical" exotic car, just don't like to have my boys riding in it all dirty after their baseball games. We just don't drive it much anymore.
I don't like anything I own to be stock so I took the liberty to make a lot of custom touches to this GTR. All the work was done professionally at a local high end car customizing company called Extreme Performance. All the ground effects were color match painted. When they had the ground effects removed a new HKS exhaust was added to give the car better performance and sound. All the lights were blacked out (even the corner markers) and the accent pieces that are normally dark grey to match the original ground effects color, ere painted gloss black. I added staggered Vossen wheels that were custom painted gloss black with a color matched accent. A rear camera was installed that comes on when the car is put into reverse. The engine is fairly stock except for adding Cobb intakes. The GTR was taken to a local tuning specialist HP Logic. There it received a tricked outtune that is fully adjustable by using the cruse control button on the steering wheel to change the amount of boost the engine produces. You can turn it up as high as 19lbs and down as low as 7lbs all with the touch of your thumb. During the tuning process it was placed on a dyno and produced 533hp to all 4 wheels (see video below). Its an extremely fast car. In order to be able to enjoy the car I had aK40 radar jamming system installed (in front bumper and rear license plate). It really works great. Its like riding around invisible.I have never launch controlled this GTR. I don't even know what sequence to press the switches to do it. It is an awesome machine that is a blast to drive.
All these mods were costly, ut I enjoyed everyone of them. Its nice knowing that if by chance I ever came across another GTR on the road, 'd know mine was unique and probably faster. I know I wont recoup hardly any of the money I spent on the upgrades but Im fine with that. Cars aren't the best hobby financially.
There is a couple negative issues that I will disclose. There is some road rash on one of the rims (see pic). The biggest negative issue is that there is a crack in the fiberglass on thefront bumper (see pic). I do not know what happened. I either ran over something that flew up to cause the damage or someone clipped me in a parking spot. Either way it is there. I have purchased a new front bumper (ebay auction #161847675738) that is already painted to match. Its from a newer model and has the cutouts for the running lights that the newer bodies have. I was torn as to how and handle this. I didn't want to put it on and have someone feel like I was hiding something. The new bumper is included in the sale of the vehicle. The new owner can choose how they want to fix it. I was told that it can be repaired or someone could add a body kit and add to the look if they choose. No matter what I wanted to be honest and up front with everyone regarding the issue.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask me. I have put a paypal deposit of $1000 to whoever decides to purchase the GTR. I will work with whoever on the payment and shipping details. I have friends in the car industry that are willing to help in any way possible. Thanks for checking out my GTR.
If the "buy it now" price is met I'd be happy to put $2000 towards the cost of shipping the vehicle.
