1973 Mercedes 450SL Convertible with hardtop

1973 Mercedes 450SL Convertible. I have owned the car for over 20 years - purchased it via a dealer friend who obtained it from the original owner. I have a copy of the title from the prior owner. I have only put on approximately 5000 miles during my entire ownership history. It has always been a local car and never been out in the snow or rain. The hardtop has only been off the car once for a brief period. The only reason for this sale is that storage has become a challenge. The car was repainted the original color by the previous owner and money was spent to deliver a beautiful job.There is not a spec of rust on the car anywhere. The chrome bumpers are beautiful with no pitting. I have stayed up on the maintenance and all the service receipts go with the purchase. A California car cover and the original Mercedes shop manual go with the purchase. .
This 450sl (107 to those in the know) is not a show car per se, ut rather a super reliable and beautiful driver quality car that COULD be a show car with a little effort and some proper detailing.
There are no warranties whatsoever on this vehicle and I will not accept trades. Payment terms, hould you be the lucky bidder, nclude a deposit of $1000 USD within 48 hrs of auction close with the final balance to be paid in full before the title will be signed over.
