The car has been wonderful for me, ut I'm moving on to something else. I cross-shopped this with GTIs as it's nearly the same chassis and has the same suspension and powertrain but in sedan form. It's an excellent sport sedan with tons of room in the backseat and trunk for roadtrips. I've gotten as high as 37 mpg on the highway. The paint is in excellent shape and waxed and clay barred regularly. The wheels are pristine. The car is garaged both at work and at home, o it barely sees the outside elements. I have done the VW maintenance every 10k miles plus a mid cycle oil change with Castrol 5w40 at 5k miles.
