This is my daily driver 1967 Bug. I have decided to sell it to pay for another car that I just bought. It runs and drives great. It has a 1500 dual port engine (not 100% sure on the size). It has a 4 speed trans with a posi in it. It shifts great and the clutch works perfectly. I bought it a few years ago and have driven it daily since. I put wide 5 disc brakes with 2 inch drop spindles on the front. I also installed an Empi merge header and Empi Hide-a-way muffler. It stops well and the header/ muffler combo give it a throaty sound thats music to my ear. At the same time I did all that work I put 4 new reproduction BRM wheels on it and four new BFG radials (155/80r15 front and 215/60r15 rear). It has been hit in the front and repaired as you can see in the photos. The rear looks like it never has been hit. The pan is amazingly rust free. The paint clear coat is peeling and it has some bubbling on the rear cowl area. Other than that its rust free. The car looks as though someone has switch out some of the 67 specific parts, uch as the fenders and seats. Inside it has a modern CD MP3 player in the glove box and a set of 6x9s in the rear shelf. It sounds great. Overall this is a nice driver bug that gets good mileage. I would love to restore this car and put a huge naturally aspirated motor in it with big set of dual webers, ut plans change and I don't really have the time or money to do it justice. Please ask as many questions as you like. I have more pictures of it and I welcome inspections in person. I believe that this car has been a California car its entire life.
