1956 Jaguar XK140 Drophead Coupe
Ferrari-Maserati of Fort Lauderdale is proud to present this incredible 1956 Jaguar XK140 Drophead Coupe. Finished in Cream over Red leather, he XK140 Drophead Coupe has been completely restored from top to bottom. Documented and beautifully maintained, his is a rare opportunity to own a part of Jaguar History.
The successor to the famed XK1240, he XK140 was distinguished by its more substantial front and rear bumpers with overriders, lashing turn signals, oot emblem, more modern front grille, nd chrome accents. The interior was made more comfortable for taller drivers by moving the engine, irewall and dash forward to give 3 inches more legroom. The XK140 was powered by the Jaguar XK engine with the Special Equipment modifications from the XK120, hich raised the specified power by 10 bhp to 190 bhp (142 kW) gross at 5500 rpm, s standard.
