For those that like my designupdates we get a lot of love driving on the street or car shows. I am sellingbecausefor the last 10 years I have driven less than 3000 miles and ready for something different in the garage. This isn't a trailer queen as I built this car for highperformancedriving and I do occasionally take for a spin. Drives perfect.
I highly encourage a personal inspection for those serious buyers and it's a great deal less money thanrestoringyour own and you get instant results instead of a 1 year wait.
Car Builder: PierreZ motors (same company Datsun hired to do the OEM 240z restoration project)
Foundation:1973 Datsun 240z. OEM near perfect dash, o rust and never been hit. It took me almost 18 monthsjustto find a car that met my criteria for quality.
Engine & Drivetrain: Complete rebuild on everything and receipts available upon request. Triple Weber Carbs andaluminummanifoldall polished, 80z head for compression, luminum crossflow radiator polished, i-output Alt, hermo Exhaust polished, ompetition aluminum clutch,short-throw shifter, 00hp very quick car but 5th gear makes freeway driving easy and comfortable. Front-disc and rear drum as I decided not to go full disc foraestheticsbut easy to add for those who want moreperformance. Wheel are 17" Koenig with custom spacers and painted tomatchbody - includes full size spare.
Interior:All custom interior. Redline baseball stylestitchingon trim,CustomZ logo on speaker, eadrest and door panels, uede headliner and seat insert, ear perfect OEM dash very rare, customspeakers separate but also link to form Z logo. Very clean interior show worthy for sure. Doors and trunk auto pop-open using remote with secondary manual bypass in case of power failure. No air conditioning unless you drive fast with windows down.
Exterior:PPG Candy Apple over gold base simplygorgeousin the sun. All bumps exterior trimmed off from locks, andles, ips on gas lid and badging. OEM factory taillightsperfectandvery rare. Blade look bumperswithincorporatedlights and it took multiple attempts to get just right. MSAflushmount mirrors and air dam were the mod parts.
See pictures which tell the story of over-the-top build. Lot's of polished billet, hrome, tainless steel, nd anodizedparts. Over $45k invested 10 years agocountlessvisitsto the shops and various mechanics and specialists. If you could find a high-quality no rust starter I would imagine a similar build would cost $60k or more today, o this is why I priced at $37,500 OBO.
