Having spent its entire life in Southern California until 2 months ago, his all original, atching number 240Z is totally rust free. The car is a one time overall repaint int the original color of Sunset Orange with the rare White interior. Along with being a rock solid car with perfect floors, ockers, pare tire well and battery tray, here appears to have never been any serious damage of any kind. All of the areas show original spot welds on all panels and no repair ever. The repaint done approximately 20 years ago is failing in a few places with some de-lamination and has some nicks and chips but is still presentable in driver quality condition. The car is unmodified from new with the exception of a newer radio. It is a matching number original drivetrain car. Everything works except the gas gauge which seems to onlyoperateerratically.Clutchand gearbox are excellent and the car shifts up and down smoothly.Performanceis very good, ngine is quiet and smooth with nodiscernible leaks or smoke of any kind. Brakes work perfectly and steering is tight. Tires are fair only showing some age cracking in the treads. Interior is all original except for a replacement dash pad cap. Overall it is very good condition. In particular for a car from the hot sun of the Southwest. We did just install a newwindshieldwith a new rubber gasket. This is a late series 1972 240Z and features the correct small detail changes for a late production. As these early 240Z Datsuns become increasinglydesirable, t is important to find one without corrosion damage, hat is nearly impossible except for cars that spent their life in a dry climate. You would look far and wide to find a better one that this. The body and chassis integrity on this car is nearly perfect, ne of the best we have ever seen. Look over our photos or come to Erie, A to inspect this outstanding 240Z. Odometer reads 126,034 but thru mileage is unknown.
