2004 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel

Up for auction is my Dodge 2500 Cummins Turbo Diesel. This truck runs and drives great. I drive it every day. If you are looking for a workhorse of a truck this is the one. I drove this truck from Dallas TX July of 2013 to Richmond Va with no problems. I would drive that distance again no problem. For some reason. unknown to me. The front end was upgraded to a 2007 model front end. Personally I love the bigger headlights and the mean look it has. The truck is currently sitting on 305/75R20's. they will remain with the vehicle. The tires are in great shape. however I recently had the front end aligned and tires rotated due to one of the tires being worn unevenly on the inside of the driver side. Reason for sale: I am looking to buy a house and downsize from this beast. I simply have no use for the truck and would rather see the money go into my house. Truck has a spray in bedliner that has seen some better days. Also. there is a gooseneck hitch in the bed. I have never pulled anything other than a utility trailer with this truck. So I assume the previous owner used it. Motor: Runs strong! The truck has a K&N Intake and a straight 4" Exhaust w/ 6" tip. All of that was on the truck when I bought it. As far as I can tell the truck has never been chipped or modded in anyway aside from that. Transmission: I have not had any trouble with the transmission. it shifts great for me. Obvious Cons: There are a few problems with the truck that I want to disclose before selling. The check engine light is on. I have had this professionally read and the diagnosis is a short in the cooling fan circuit. This same circuit is connected to the turbo waste gate. However I haven't had any trouble from this and quite frankly can't afford a diesel mechanic to look further into it. Second issue. the oil pan gasket seems to be leaking at the passengers side front end of the pan. The leakage is minimal and has little cause for concern. Third and last problem. the front shocks need replaced. Overall the truck is in great shape. I have left no stones unturned in this description. I love this truck. it runs amazing. I just cannot afford having payments on it at the moment. The truck is sold as is. this is not a show truck! I do have a loan on the truck so please keep in mind that the bank has the title. If you haven't ever dealt with this before please bid with the knowledge that the title simply cannot be available till vehicle loan has been paid in full.
