1996 Dodge Ram 1500 Base Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door 5.2L

Up for auction today is a good running 1996 dodge ram 1500 4x4 with a manual transmission. This truck is a rare find with a manual 5 speed transmission that has a good clutch. The engine sounds good with a fresh tune up and oil change and fuel pump with zero miles on both. It does have a new battery. newer oil and water pump. Brakes are about a year old. I just got this truck from a tenant of mine in exchange for a few months rent. All my plans for this truck were to sell it since i do not have any use for it. I only drove it about ten miles from her house to mine and it drove fine. The brakes seem good and the clutch is good. This truck was her daily driver for the last four years. The body is rusted like any dodge from the 90s. The rocker panels are rusted through but you can get new rockers on ebay for 35 a side. If you are able to do the body work yourself you can have a nice looking good running truck cheap. The cab corners are rusted as well as is the rear bumperThe frame has some surface rust but nothing bad at all. the frame is very solid. The truck starts right up every time. It does have a button installed to start it. It will need new tires. i have three tires with half tread i can give you if you are interested. she gave them To me when i got the truck but i never installed them. It also has makeshift fuel tank straps installed. they work and will last so i wasn't going to change them. Also the 4x4 doesn't engage. i didn't even look to see what was wrong with it. This isn't a new truck but it runs and drive and will get you from point a to point b without issues. The interior is in good shape with one minor tear on the seat.
