2001 Dodge Laramie SLT 5. 9l 24valve Cummins short bed truck Let’s just say that this isn't a show truck. This truck puts in the work and has been built for business by a Diesel Mechanic. I am the second owner. purchased from a family member. so I know where it’s been its whole life. The first owner had the truck serviced at the dealership every time. This is a California truck and no rust (except some road chips). This truck hasn’t seen the snow. I just moved to Ohio due to the Military. The only reason I am selling is because I have two little girls and I need to get a vehicle that is good for them. Everything about this truck has been updated. upgraded or improved from stock – This truck has a new 55 block engine. New engine computer. New belt and water pump when I put in the engine. It has new injectors. injector lines. vacuum pump. power steering pump. new batteries. new brakes. rotors . calipers. and new wheel cylinders on the back. It has a FASS pump on it. Two FS2500 oil filtration systems one for the transmission and one for the oil. It has a brake sensor light. brand new heater core. and dash bezel (aftermarket). The truck has K&N air filter. It has an Edge Juice with attitude that isn’t hooked up to the pump (also brand new VP44 pump). I never turned the truck up and I used the edge for monitoring my transmission temperature. There is 4” Gibson exhaust from the turbo back. All new ball joints about two years ago and new front wheel bearings. It has a steering dampener from B&D diesel so no death wobble. New headlight housings. New exhaust manifold. It has a custom built bumper that is ¼ steel with a 2” round bar with new headlights. It has a trailer brake set up in it. It has new shocks. The four wheel drive is great. The bottom of the truck from the mid-door down has been Line-x’ed . The truck has a brand new windshield. I have painted the underneath and bed with rustoleum black paint every year so there is no rust. There are off road lights under the rear for night time trailer connecting. It has an in dash dvd player. with a ipod connector. and you can put satellite radio in it. It has minor dents and dings – it was run like a truck – not a Mercedes. If you want it perfect it would need to be painted. the clear coat took a beating from the California sun. I backed into a mailbox on the passenger’s side and put a fair sized scratch on it. The bed has some dents and dings in it and I also have a carpet that has some tears in it for the bed. There are cracks in the dashboard (typical Dodge). In the camper shell the screens will need to be replaced. The only two thing I know need to be done are the a/c conditioner line need to be replaced (which I have) and the tailgate has new clamps that need to be adjusted (it sticks). It has the original transmission and I haven’t had any problems with it. I silicone the wheel wells because of the rain water getting the seams and that is not good for the fenders. It may need an oil pan gasket it has a small spot on the ground after a long drive. The tires are a little low and will make it about another 10000. I know there were a lot of things replaced on this truck. but because I am a diesel mechanic I had access to parts and tools and I never wanted to be on the side of the road. I love this truck and it kills me to be selling. Between the engine and all the other mods there is $12. 00 dollars in this truck just in the last year. This is a great truck and a monster when it comes to pulling and drives great. Thanks for looking if you have any questions please ask. You’ll get a beast of a truck with this one if you want something that does more than look pretty.
