Up for sale is my 1950 Dodge B series Pilot house pickup truck. (very rare low short bed) it is a 1949 model first sold in 1950 and registered as a 1950. this truck has been in California since new and has no rust ever anywhere on the truck. no patch panels etc. very solid 65 year old truck. it has had a body off restoration done about 5 years ago with only a couple thousand miles since done. there was over $12k spent in body and paint alone. beautiful show quality body and paint work. it has new windshield and door glass with original rear glass and all new rubber seals. new weather strip. body mounts etc. all new correct wire harness from front to back. it has turn signals and electric wipers added. all gauges work as they should. all electric is still the original 6 volt positive ground. the interior has been insulated everywhere with new headliner. door panels. ick panels. loor mat and fire wall insulator. it also has 3 point seat belts added. the motor is the original flathead 6 cyl. and was rebuilt back in the 1990s and runs very good. 30 to 45 lbs. oil pressure. but does have a couple minor oil leaks but nothing bad. the transmission is the 3 speed floor shift and shifts good but may pop out of 2nd. gear going down hill some times but will not pop out if you rest your hand on the knob. (no big deal) it has a fresh clutch disc. ressure plate. hrow out bearing and pilot bushing. so needless to say it takes off smooth as can be. the entire brake system has been rebuilt with new shoes. ylinders and all new brake lines. it stops straight and and easy. the steering box was rebuilt and steers easy and straight . no play. all suspension is tight like new. it has fresh tires. 6. 50/16 Coker classic wide whites with new 16 inch chrome wheels from Wheels Ventique. the bed has all new oak wood with a half dozen coats of marine spar varnish and new stainless steel strips. these trucks have a cruising speed of about 50-55 mph and were not made for freeway speeds . it is a pleasure to drive and always draws a crowd wherever I go. whether it be the market. umber yard . ursery and car shows. The paint is an easy 9 out of 10 but does have a half dozen little nicks in it from use. IF YOU HAVE ZERO FEEDBACK YOU MUST CONTACT ME BEFORE YOU BID.
