1998 Dodge Viper GTS V10 Red 450 HP

Up for sale is a red 1998 Dodge Viper GTS; it currently has about 40. 00 miles. It is the 2nd generation Viper which has the 450 horsepower 8 liter V10 with a 6 speed transmission. The 1998 models also have forged pistons so they can easily push 700-800 horsepower before needing any bottom end work. Everything works. needs a few minor things done like: gas cap + headlights need polishing and rear wheels have a few small spots that should be scrubbed. The rear has a few spots that need to be touched up properly; when I had the stripes removed I noticed someone prior had attempted a touch up job which didn't come out perfectly. They are about 6 small spots which add up to the size of a quarter (picture shows a dime). Pics show all of this. I have a copy of the Carfax in case you are interested. If you want to test drive it make sure to bring cash or have proof of financing ready. Some of the recent maintenance done by Dan Cragin of SPT Performance: oil change. brake & clutch fluid change and new serpentine belt. I'm looking to get a new Viper and when I sold my Gen 4 I took this car as a trade plus some cash. The car is in great shape overall; exterior is about an 8 to 8. 5 and interior I would say 9. 5. Car has also had a full paint correction and detailing done. PRICE: This is basically one of the lowest priced GTS (coupe) models out there but having said that. there is a bit of room for negotiation. The car is very clean overall. It's a great car for somebody wanting to get into the Viper world for relatively cheap or for someone who wants a stock car to build on. Cash is preferred; if you bring cashier's check I will wait for the check to clear before releasing the car. Car will be smogged by me if you're from California.
