This is a 1955 dodge power wagon I got as a project a few years ago from a friend of mine. I have seen it run probably 10-12 years ago but it hasn't been used since. The engine turns over by hand fine so with some tinkering I have no doubt it will run again. The engine code is T137. I think that is correct but not 100% sure. The sheetmetal will obviously need work but the cab and nose are fixable. The box I'm not so sure about. One bedside it pretty bent but the other might be savable by a good body man. The front bed panel is badly bent and there is no tailgate. The rear fenders I believe are from a early 50's standard dodge pickup bed but they are so beat up it doesn't really matter. There was a sheetmetal cover over the wood so it is still there for patterns but wouldn't stand up to a load. The frame and all running gear is complete and in good shape. Has the front frame extensions and winch. Custom made engagement lever and fairleads for the cable but all well made. The windshield frame is in very good shape and has no rust through anywhere on it. The hand crank out mechanism works as it should. Same with the door skins and bottoms. Surface rust only. The "dodge" and "power wagon" chrome is extremely nice and shiny. Not all pitted up like most I have seen. I have a clear and correct title in my name for the truck as well. I have no reserve on the truck and it will sell to the highest bidder. My opening price of $1800 I think if very reasonable considering what I could part out just the windshield frame and doors for. I can assist in loading onto your carrier if they will work with my schedule. Local pickup is just fine but you will need to arrange any other type of shipment. The truck rolls and steers fine but has no brakes. The tires all hold air but are old and hard. Please look at the pictures and ask any questions you may have. I work odd hours and days so may not answer real soon or at the last minute. so don't delay. Payment to be made within a week of the auction end. A $200 deposit to be made by paypal within 72 hrs of auction end. The remainder to be paid by cashiers check or personal check but must clear my bank before the truck can be removed from my property. Cash in hand is also accepted. The sooner the truck is removed from my property the better but it can remain here in my unsecured back yard for a couple of months if necessary.
