Description

1969 DODGE CHARGER
I have for sale a 1969 Dodge Charger that I purchased out of a private collection in a group of cars. There has been thousands of dollars spent on this car. The driveline and suspension has been completely rebuilt This Charger originally was a 383 car, ut a brand new 440 was built and installed. The 440 has a steel crank, teel rods, ull ARP bolt kit and a new milodon oil pan. The heads have been rebuilt with all new parts and a 525-525 cam and lifter set was used. The engine was then topped with a Holley street dominator intake and a new 750 Edelbrock carburator. A completely new MSD ignition system and distributor were installed. This car starts easily every time with a tough stuff starter and sounds great with the flowmaster exhaust. A new 4 core radiator keeps the engine cool. The transmission is a completely new 727 from TCI, ith a 2000 TCI stall convertor and a TCI flex plate. The rear axle is a 8 3/4 rear with a new Eaton positive traction unit and 4:10 gear ratio. The suspension has been rebuilt as well with new polyurethane bushings and new shocks all around.
The exterior of this Charger is black and very straight. I would guess the paint to be around 30 years old and it still holds a great shine, s it has been garage kept throughout the years. It appears to be lacquer paint and as stated earlier it is as straight as an arrow! There are a few rock chips and blemishes due to its age, owever this car could very easily be a local show winner. It appears to have all original floor and trunk pans intact. The right side quarter panel has been replaced and the right side vinyl top has some bubbles under it, ut it does not seem to be rust - its more like the glue has come loose. The glass in the Charger is all clear and the windows roll up and down without any issues. The hideaway headlights function properly. There is even a spare tire and jack in the trunk.
The interior of this Charger is in very good condition with its original uncut dash and thumb wheel radio. There are no cracks in the dash pad. The headliner and door panels are in great shape. The seats and console look excellent as well. All of the seat belts are in the car.
In all this Charger starts, ounds, ooks, rives and runs great! A Charger is always leading the pack for Mopar enthusiast and would make a great addition to anyone's collection. This is a very nice car that will continue to rise in value. There is no buy it now option, ut the reserve for this auction is reasonably low for a vehicle of this caliber. As stated earlier, his vehicle was part of a package deal and my storage space is limited.
Feel free to contact me at 859-582-3395 for any questions, r if you would like to arrange a time to come view/drive this car. Thank you for your interest and happy bidding!
