1985 Dodge Ram 50 Royal Turbo Diesel 4D55 Mitsubishi Might Max d50

This my 1985 Dodge d50 Turbo Diesel, wd, speed manual. It has the factory California version of the 4d55 Mitsubishi turbo diesel engine. It runs, hifts, rives, nd stops well. I hate to see this truck go but I am moving to the east coast.

The good:
This is my daily driver. I have put close to 6,000 miles on it in the last 8 months when I bought it off my dad’s neighbor, he original owner. The truck runs great and I just drove it back from SFO yesterday (over 50 miles) on the freeway at over 70 miles per hour. I do about 60% in town and 40% freeway and average 28 miles per gallon. All the lights, urn signals, nd horn function as they should. I don’t hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. In the last 8 months I have serviced the truck including:
New tires
New Glow Plugs
New Timing Chain
New Alternator
Sony Bluetooth CD stereo.

Pink slip is clear and specifies truck is a diesel. Never have to smog in CA! I truly love this truck and am sad to sell. Registration current till end of Oct.

The not so good:
The Fenders, ood, oors and bed have been replaced from a donor vehicle and look nice but the original cab still shows some damage on the passenger side post. I have done my best to take pictures of this. Both doors open and close well and fit correctly. The panels are silver while the original cab is blue.
The door latch on the inside of the driver door broke last week and I haven’t found one to replace it with. You have to roll down the window and open the door from the outside.
The computer for the glow plugs was not functioning when I got the car. I wired a push button for the glow plugs onto the steering column, ou can see it in the pictures. I hold this for 5 seconds then turn the key like normal.
The windshield wipers stop wherever you shut off the switch.
With my current driving habits I add about 1 quart of oil every 1,000 miles. It has some drips form the front of the engine.
The alternator gauge in the cab works but it barley moves.

The gas gauge does not work 20% of the time. (It registers nothing at startup). 80% of the time it works like normal.
It drives well down the road but I get more feedback from the front end then I would like. Could probably use new shocks /and or rebuild on the front end. Has factory power steering that is working properly.
