I started my own lot in 1979 and built it up to the size of any new car dealership with 50 employees. 12 shop bays and well over 100 trucks on the lot. we sold that property and dealership back in 2006 and today nearing 60 years old I am semi retired and opened a small hobby lot located in Carlisle PA. I still have the passion for diesel trucks in which I'm an expert (by the way anyone who does anything successful for 35 years is an expert in my opinion). and I also have the passion just as I did at 18 to help people find the truck of there dreams. I know these old cummins diesel/and 7. 3's trucks inside and out and I personally drive one and love these trucks emmensley. What I hate the older ones here in the northeast since they just melt away from all the rust and bondo they are loaded up with so I fly out west to Southern California. exas. and other west coast and southern states to buy a few clean rustfree 1 owners and drive them home to sell in the northeast. Put the key in a few turns and that 12 valve is purring perfectly. no leaks no blow by. hit the throttle she is burning rubber. Good tight tranny. 4x4 works perfect. good track bar. ball joints. exerything working good. Frame. brake lies and oil pan erfect like all the other Floridia trucks I buy. Body also nice. looks like all original paint to me. good gloss. real straight body. interior real nice no cracking or tears. everything working good smells nice no stains. Truck was owned by a retired fella who really pampered this truck and had all the maintence records. he bought a newer ram diesel and traded this one in at Dodge and the dealer called me and it is how I got it. Some minor wear and tear as to be expected from any truck of this age especially something as a survivor like this one. nbsp;not a restoration and painted one like most 97's. We got some clear flake on hood Dodge orig paint is known for this especially in a state like FLa with that hot sun. Some stone nicks. rock chips. and ect. . Also mechanically I need to put in a new heater core. part here need to find time job is included in buy it now money might discount a few hundred if you want the job. /p>Please understand guys if you want the best diesel truck ever produced look no farther and if you want an all origional not modified up. rusty crapper with 2 biuzillion miles. than here it is. trust me these are just not around anymore use to be a time years ago I'd find these weekly but I go from coast to coast today and I'm lucky to find something this nice with the low miles once a year. so don't delay it will not last. dealing on a first come basis
