First off I would like to apologize for the truck being listed without being washed up but with the crazy weather we have been having lately timing has not been there for me to do so but it will be cleaned before new owner takes position. Up for auction is a rare find in this condition. 1968 dodge L600 dump body. Great running 318 with as smooth as it gets 4spd trans with 2spd rear end. Other than the one repaint and dump body the truck is as original as they get. For you history buffs this truck was originally purchased by the Greensboro City fire dept in 68. for the entire service life of this truck it was a tanker. The truck was repainted yellow in late 70's early 80's when the city went to yellow trucks. In the early 90's the truck was bought by local guy and that is when the dump went on and was used for hauling for the next few years. Truck was sold to a kid to start a landscaping business with and well he had no business with a truck like this so I bought it with plans to make a roollback out of. I mentioned to a close friend what I was going to do and well. he went out and built him one soo. well. I haven't done a thing but use it around the house and parked it a couple years ago. The body has absolutely no rust out anywhere. Seats are rough but that is all wrong with interior besides a good cleaning. the repaint is soo poorly prepped it has started peeling off with the shinny original red coming through. Glass is good. Air brakes are good. Could use some tires. great to restore. keep as a dump which works great or do as you wish. clean clear title ready to go. Please email with any and all questions you may have.
