This is a survivor 1956 Dodge Town Panel. Mileage showing currently is 50228. No proof, ut believe to be original. I drive this truck 50-60 miles per week.Original 230 six, speed on the column, eing a deluxe it has 2 speed electric wipers and a very good 3 speed heater.I have had this truck two years, bout 4000 miles ago. Since I bought it the following have been done:New Clutch and change of rear end from 4.78 to 3.90New BrakesNew Radial TiresRebuilt generator, ew voltage regulator, ater pump and battery.New paint job in the original color, cuador Blue, ith clear coat.Interior is original, aint, eats, oor panels and headliner. I insulated and paneled the back, armer in cold weather, ooler in warm weather, uieter all the time.EVERYTHING WORKS except fuel gauge, hen grounded, t goes to full, ometimes it tries to move on it's own, elieve to be a bad ground, ust haven't had a chance to address it, just keep track of the mileage when I get fuel. The door locks even work, he wires you see under the rubber floor mat are from the stereo, p into the body, ehind the paneling and to the rear speakers and for the camera. I also ran a spare wire as a "future lead" that goes from under the dash and out under the body incase I ever wanted to add a light to aid in backing up in the dark, nder the truck. This truck has NO rust, showed two blemished in the paint, hey look worse in these pictures than they are when looking at the truck, hey both are "hard" to the touch, do have extra paint to go with the truck. It was painted in December 2014. Floors are excellent including the wood floor. The is a bed mat trimmed to cover the wooden floor. I added a tach, tereo, oltage gauge and 12 volt outlet, nd a rear view camera in the glove box, andy for backing up.I would drive this truck anywhere, nd I do, ill cruise at 65, 000 rpm, lenty of pedal left, ut this is a torquey long stoke engine so I don't take it over 3000. YES, ou can drive it home, ust keep the rpms down.Burns no oil visibly, oes spot, o I add a quart and zinc additive once or twice a year between annual oil changes.I've been asked if the truck is for sale, ot really, ut will thought I'd see if there was any interest. It will be tough to find another daily driver as nice and rare as this.
