MINT CONDITION 2002 DODGE RAM CUMMINS 2500 4X4 X-CAB 6-SPEED MANUAL 5.9 DIESEL
This survivor is a very very nice 5.9 cummins pickup truck. No rust, o dents, uns perfect, rives perfect, ery clean, ow miles, lean carfax, verthing works. Its a pampered old-guy pickup. 122K easy miles. It looks nice in the pics, ut looks better in person. I happened upon this truck recently and it was too nice to pass up. I am selling my powerstrokes and buying a new dodge. I thought it would be good to have another dodge for my second pickup. I've realized that this truck is just way too nice for me to use for an extra pickup. I want something I won't worry about as much as the new pickup, nd I know I will be too picky about this truck. I see it as a classic and would want it to stay that way, ut to each his own. I bought this truck from a gentleman who lives in my small town. He bought it in July of 2013, ith 67k miles on it. The carfax and some receipts verify that. He drove it on the highway, ulling a 17' camper around the southwest. The truck does not appear to have ever been chipped and has the original air cleaner still. The gentleman I bought it from was not a "rolling coal" kind of guy. It has more than enough power for what he used it for, nd he focused on maintaining it well. It has never had a fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch installed. This truck has been pampered. It is very straight and rust free. It was not detailed for the pics, he previous owner was just clean and picky about taking care of it. The window sticker/build sheet for the truck is included, s well as the owners manual and other factory documents. This ram also has some nice extras. It has an ARE brand topper with yakima racks and a matching rack on the cab. The keys for the topper and racks are included. The topper is lighted and has a brake light/running light. It is carpeted on the inside, nd I believe insulated. The topper was about $2000 new with the racks. This truck also has a very heavy duty aftermarket bumper. These bumpers are made in Kalispell Montana by Northland Fabrication and are infamous in this area for being extremely tough and deer/elk resistant. They are $2000 new installed, nd this one is in perfect condition like the truck. It has fog lights and auxillary driving lights. They are finished with a durable rhinolining type coating. I have this same bumper on two of my other pickups, nd they are tough. I know most of you know this, ut this truck is a four door quad cab. Here are more specific details on the truck. I HAVE 120 PICS I CAN SEND IN A LINK. Only 24 fit in the ebay system, nd I know people like more pics. This is a really nice pickup. If your looking for the closest thing to a new 5.9 dodge from this era, his truck won't disappoint. This was about as loaded as you could get in the year. MECHANICAL
This pickup has the 5.9 litre, 4 valve cummins. This is the legendary inline six-cylinder diesel engine. I can tell by the condition of the truck, hat it most likely was never worked really at all. It has never had a gooseneck or fifth wheel. Mechanically it appears completely original. I know the muffler has been replaced but the exhaust looks original besides that. No sign of any tuner being used ever. Original air cleaner. Under the hood is very very clean. I can tell that it was not detailed, t just was rarely dirty. It looks like it was rarely ever wet or ran in the rain. The previous owner was proud of the condition of the truck and a meticulous type of a person. This starts, uns and drives perfect. Everything works. It starts perfectly when zero degrees out, ith no blue smoke. It sounds perfect. It's very tight overall. Great oil pressure. The truck runs at proper temperature, o overheating. No sign of any block problems, nd I looked specifically to make sure. No water leakage. No oil in the water, r water in the oil. No dripping leaks. The clutch and transmission work perfectly and no slop in the shifter or anything like that. This has the 6-speed manual transmission, ith 3.55 axle ratios and anti-spin rear differential. It cruises effortlessly. I have one powerstoke with 4.10 gears and the 3.55's are really nice compared to that. The 4x4 works as it should, ith no problems. Shift-on-the-fly transfer case. The A/C, ruise, tc. all work as it they should. No abnormal noises, attles, nocks, r squeeks. Some paperwork is included on past work done. Low miles on new clutch slave cylinder and muffler. Nice Michelin E-rated tires with paperwork and probably a transferable warranty. They have about 70% tread I would estimate, re a year old and were $210 apiece. The size is 265r75/16. The original wheels are nice, nd look like they've never seen salt. The truck goes down the road super nice. It drives as smooth and straight as it probably did new. No vibrations or anything abnormal like that. No interior rattles. Infinity CD player/stereo works great and sounds nice. Interior lights, eadlights, eater, ipers, indows, irrors, uxillary lights, og lights, tc. etc. all work. This has anti-lock disc brakes with driver and passenger airbags. I believe you can turn the passenger off. This has the trailer towing package with heavier rear springs and brake contoller. It rides nice though, nd the springs don't feel abnormally stiff. Overall, he trucks is in exceptional mechanical condition. I've driven some new dodges lately and this truck feels as close to new as you'd probably find in a 2002. I would trust it to drive across the country and back with no worries.
BODY
The body on this truck is exceptional. It's 13 years old and you'd be hard pressed to find a nicer one. No rust, o dents. I've been all over it underneath also, nd it has no rust. There is nothing even resembling the start of rust, nywhere. It's very dry. It looks like it was probably on the highway 99.999% of it's life. If you drive rigs on gravel roads the paint just doesn't stay this nice. One tiny ding in the hood which you'd probably miss unless your looking for it. No large scratches, ery few small scratches. There is a scratch on the back of the box, n the drivers side. This is a scratch only. No dent whatsoever. The paint is very nice. It's a really nice looking truck. No sign of any bodywork or paintwork ever. No bondo. Clear carfax with no accidents. The doors shut nicely and it's tight while driving. This is the quad cab four door. There is plenty of room in the back for kids or shorter people. I am 6'5" can sit in back, ut it's not as ideal as a full crew cab for tall people. The hood and tailgate operate as they should. Wheels look great and are original. Inside of the box has light scratches but it's obvious it was not a work truck. No dents on the inside of the box or wheelwells. The previous owner was retired and pulled a 17' camper around, ostly in the southwest. The roof is nice also. No hail dents or anything abnormal like that. One small chip in the windshield. Nice Dee-zee aluminum running boards. Nice mudflaps which are probably original equipment. This also has aluminum bed rail caps, ailgate protected, nd the same type of protector on the inside front of the box. This pickup has mirror extentions, nd the plastic on the drivers side extension is cracked. The previous owner used gorilla tape to keep the plastic from rattling. You can leave it as-is, et a new extention, r just take the extentions off. It's not real noticeable anyways. The mirror is fine structurally. Overall, he body is very nice, lean, nd impressive for a dodge from this generation. You'll get dodge enthusiasts wanting to talk to you about it.
INTERIOR
NOTE: Many more pics available. Nothing to hide, just though body pics would be most important and ebay only allows 24 pics. The interior on this pickup is very nice. I did not have it detailed, he owner was just very clean. I can tell, s many people can, he difference between a rig that's been kept clean and a rig that was dirty and has been detailed. There are no rips in the seats or carpet. Very little wear even on the drivers seat. No stains. Nothing is broken. There are a couple screw holes down low in the dash, loser to the floor, here a cb most likely was mounted. They are barely noticeable, ut I'm sure there is a way to fill them if you care. Besides that, he interior is near perfect. Very little wear at all and most likely never had a child in it. I have kids, nd you'd have to starve them to keep a truck this clean and scratch free. The seats are as comfortable as they look. Under the seat area clean also. Headliner, oorpanels, auge area, tc. is nice. The lighting varies in the pics some, ut the interior is very nice and clean. Nothing is abnormally faded or burnt. It wouldn't hurt the carpet to have a shampoo, ut it doesn't really need it. There is no sign of any animal hair ever, nd no smell. By no smell, mean no bad smell and no perfume or cleaner smell. It just doesn't smell at all. The carpet could be shampooed, ut doesn't really need it. Infinity stereo system sounds nice. Overall, t's just clean and nice. The front console is folded up in the pics, ut it's also very nice. The shifter, oot, nd shifter area is very nice and has a factory cup holder and a place to put miscellaneous stuff. Gauge area, olumn, teering wheel, oor panels, eadliner, tc. are nice. The ashtray and lighter look new, nd never used. This truck has two sets of keys for the pickup, ack, nd topper.
Sold as-is, o warranty. This truck is nice, nd I took time to inspect it well and get as many details as possible. The truck is not new, ut in excellent condition.

This truck does not have the "53" engine block, nd from what I've read it was only 2001 and earlier trucks with that block. This has the Mexican block, hich is supposed to be the strongest. Also, can send lots more pics if your interested in the truck. The interior is as nice as the exterior. The truck looks better in person too. It was just dreary weather when I took pics.
