2009 Custom Supercharged Dodge Challenger SRT

The car I have the pleasure of showing you today is a nicely customized one of one 2009 Dodge challenger SRT 8. The car started life as a standard SRT challenger that includes the 6.1l hemi that was rated at 425 horsepower, rembo brake set-up, ibach racing suspension, nd all the creatures of comfort on the inside.

We took this car when it only had 5000 miles on it and completely tore it down and made it what you see today. This a multiple world of wheels show winner as well as ANY judged show it has ever entered. The car body has been straightened even better than the factory put them out and then coated with PPG O-SO-ORANGE tri-coat paint. Then it get four coats of PPG’s best clear coat and we follow that by hand sanding and polishing and buffing to a mirror finish. Also added is the 2011 lower front spoiler and all the lower plastic is painted body color. One of the more unique love it or hate it items are the lambo door hinges made by Vertical Doors Inc. They work absolutely flawless and open normally and then up so that when in daily use you don’t have to go up with them all the time. This paint job really has to be seen in person to appreciate. The widows are professionally tinted with a 20% grade tint. The headlights have Oracle brand Halo rings professionally installed on the factory HID headlights. The taillights have the sequencial upgrade.

The wheels are KMC Novi wheels. The fronts are 22x9 and the rears are 22x11 wrapped with 315-25-22 tires. It also has a Hotchkis stage 1 kit for the suspension.

The interior has had some upgrades as well. The seats, oor panels, nd rear interior panels have orange utrasuede inserts on them and the entire headliner, un visors and all the pillar moldings have been treaded to black utrasuede. The radio and shift bezel have been painted the car color. The stereo is upgraded also with the factory head unit still in place there is a JBL MS-8 dsp converting all the signals. There is a JL Audio 300/4 for door speakers and a 500/1 for the custom subwoofer enclosure. The sub is a JL Audio 10w7 and the door speakers are Infinity Kappa Perfect component speakers with a custom center channel for surround mode.

The engine has been pumped up with a Vortech Supercharger with integrated intercooler. We had this professionally tuned at Mr Norms in Illinois. He made it a fairly conservative tune that works great on pump gas and daily driving but makes excellent power. It Dynoed at the rear wheels at 493.95 hp and 464.65 ft lbs of torque. The exhaust is flowmaster brand with dynomax tips. Which sounds awesome.

This car is absolutely a blast to drive. I have personally put 39,000 miles on this car and always pampered it. Car has never been raced or abused. It drives straight and true with no vibrations.
