1996 Dodge Viper GTS

I've owned this Viper since 1999 and bought it from the original owner who bought it from Claude Short Dodge in Santa Monica. CA (no longer there). It has been meticulaously maintained by Dan Cragin who was the Viper tech at Claude Short and then went on to form the Viper shop in West L. A. Dan is very well known in Southern California as one of the most knowledgable viper techs in the west. I moved to Austin. TX a few years ago. so I now have the car here in TX. but have not driven the car much since I moved. I drive it a short distance or just start it up every other month to keep it running well. It's a stunner and drives great! It has a few bolt on mods that don't show on the outside. Dan Cragin installed Hennesy headers with a Borla exhaust (sounds great. but not too loud). larger throttle bodies with smooth tube intake runners. and a lighter flywheel. It's part of a rare performance package that Claude Short Dodge used to offer (there is a small plaque on the center console that can easily be removed if desired). The whole car is very clean and well taken care of. I can e-mail additional pictures of any details upon request. This Viper has the same kind of Michelin tires that it came with from the factory. I bought the last set that Tire Rack had in stock a few years back and the tread is still very good on them. Even most low mileage vipers don't have these original impossible to get NOS tires. Custom made blue with white stripes car cover included. The value on these Blue and White GTS Vipers has started to creep up in the last year or so it's not only an iconic car. it could be a good investment!
