Description

Unmodified stock 1998 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Diesel 4x4. The last of the best motor Dodge made. This truck would be great for work, ecreation, r repaint and modify. It’s been a reliable vehicle that runs and drives great. Well cared for and maintained. It's under 210k actual miles and has a clean title. This diesel has many more miles to go.

EXTERIOR: The paint is the weakest point on this truck. Paint is bubbling and peeling (mainly on the hood and on doors). The body has very few dents and dings. Spray-In bedliner. Shown in pics.

INTERIOR: Cloth seats are in great condition (one small section on the driver seat that is showing a little wear but no tears). All power options work properly (door locks, indows, river seat). All glass is in good condition (no cracks or chips). Passenger side half door doesn't open from the inside.

RECENT WORK: All work done by local shops.

Transmission rebuilt at around 200k miles. Replaced tensioner assembly. Replaced outer timing cover gasket and front crank seal. Replaced main seal. Rebuilt Front Suspension (replaced front axle seals and U-Joints, ew track bar, eplaced all four tie rods, ew steering shock, ew steering gear, ew steering damper). Newer Alternator and Starter. Replaced washer reservoir. AC repaired and recharged.New Yokohama Geolandar tires. New batteries.

NEEDS WORK:

Block heater isn't working (may need a new cord or it may need to be replaced - cheap fix, aven't had time to do it). It starts at fairly low temperatures (0-10 degrees); but would start much better in colder temperatures if repaired or replaced. Once warm and in warmer weather it starts instantly.

12 valves like this are getting harder to find. It’s never been used to tow heavy loads; mainly for pulling a trailer with small fishing boat. I purchased the truck from my brother 6 years ago; and he had it for about 8 years prior. Documentation for mechanical work will go with the truck. Additional pictures are available upon request.
