This incredibly rare fully frame off restored 1960 Fargo Power Wagon is the unique name to Power wagons sold north of the border. They are identical in every way to the U.S. models except for some very unique and rare badging. These trucks are incredibly rare above and below the border. At car shows it is always the truck that garners the most attention because no one has ever seen one before. It is the UNICORN of the highly collectible Power Wagon line of trucks. Derived from the Dodge 3/4 ton WC series trucks used in World War II. The first Civilian 4X4 Dodge Power Wagons debuted in 1946. These trucks became instant hits with contractors, unicipalities, anchers and anyone needing a rugged easy to repair four wheel drive for serious work. The platform was so solid, ad such an outstanding reputation for reliability, hat it stayed in production virtually unchanged until 1968. Originally found in working condition in southern Quebec Canada (see attached photo) and frame off restored in St Jerome in 2011 this Fargo/Power Wagon stays true to the original Fargos of the era. This rugged truck retains its original rebuilt 235.5 cubic inch 94hp flat head six cylinder engine and original 4 speed transmission. The body was expertly frame off restored to original perfection. Painted in a Deep Burgundy and accented with Black fenders this truck is very striking in appearance, nd the subject of attention everywhere it goes. The Truck starts and drives reliably like a work truck should. Power Wagons were Spartan in their interior appointments but this truck has deluxe carpet, inyl seats, oor cards and matching headliner. The truck is optioned with the high desirable Heavy Duty Winch, arker lights, actory auxiliary lights and a beautiful wood bed. This is a very unique show winner truck investment quality truck.
