Up for auction is our 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A 340 six pack. This car was with the same owner from 1977 to 2014. In 1977 it was purchased in Phoenix. Arizona where it was sold new. It was in Colorado from 1977 to 2014 being in a dry climate since new. this car is rust free. It has never had any body panels replaced including the floors. rockers. quarter panels (front and rear) or trunk. The body is exceptionally nice and very original! It is believed that this car is a two owner car with 110. 00 original miles. This car retains its original fender tags (with original screws). both build sheets and numbers matching engine. The restoration was completed several years ago and was completed by Mopar experts. The restoration included all of the mechanical being rebuilt to factory specifications. All of the suspension was rebuilt along with the brakes. The body was stripped. primed and block sanded multiple times and painted with modern materials. It is truly beautiful work. The hood is an original T/A hood that has not seen hood springs in over 30 years. it fits pretty good for an original and is finished in the correct black sheen. All of the glass is nice. appears original with Chrysler star date markings. All of the trim and chrome plated bright work is restored to "better than new" condition. The wheels are originals and have the correct Goodyear bias ply tires. The interior is very nice and has maintained many of its original pieces. An interior expert inspected the interior and in their opinion; the seats. door panels. head liner. package tray and dash are all original to the car and in immaculate condition showing only lite wear. Only the carpet has been replaced. The dash is exceptional and has all working gauges. switches and components. The steering wheel is an original and shows little wear. I would rate the interior a solid 8. 5. With this car having its original 45 year old interior and it still looking this nice. it speaks volumes about how this car was cared for over its entire life. Under the hood has nice detail and is correct. The numbers matching 340 Six Pack runs great with its original intake and Holley carburetors. No leaks and sounds awesome through the correct T/A side exhaust system. The trunk is fully detailed as well. It still retains its original space saver spare tire. air tank. jack and hardware. Everything works as expected on this car. All of the lights. gauges. horns. wipers. etc. are in proper working order. The undercarriage is very nice and original. Its not fully detailed or restored. its original and shows many original factory inspection marks and paint markings on the rear axle and suspension parts. So to sum up the undercarriage. its very nice but you can still drive this car without worrying about wet pavement. When a purest looks underneath the car. their impressed. The numbers on this car are very important and correct. The matching VIN number is on the title. build sheets. drivers door sticker. dash pad. cowl sheet metal. fender tag. radiator support and engine block. It is a true "Go Green" car and has all of its original T/A parts. Included with the car is a thick file full of old receipts documenting the miles. owners. maintenance records and old registrations. If you are looking for a very correct and nice 70 T/A that is one of the best colors. then this is the car for you. It drives nice and needs nothing to enjoy. It is also finished to a level where it fits in an investment quality collection. I have been an ebay member since 2000 with 100% feedback rating. Please call me with questions 303 475-4544.
