Beautiful one-of-a-kind 1997 Dodge Dakota "Lil' Red Express" recreation. V8-A.C.

Up for sale is a beautiful and one-of-a-kind. Lil' Red Express Dodge Dakota. This has been my project for awhile now and it's finished. The truck has the Magnum 5. 2 V8 that runs absolutely perfect. Behind the motor is a 5 speed manual transmission that shifts excellent. The drive-train is completely stock. and needs nothing. All fluids have been topped off or changed. brakes are great and the clutch is smooth and strong. This truck is a daily-drivable tribute to the original 1978 Lil' Red Express. with modern advancements of-course. The door and tailgate graphics are official Mopar reproductions and look great. Before the truck was painted. I modified the bedsides so the smoke-stacks fit flush within the body. The metalwork looks amazing. it looks like a factory bedside. made for these chrome stacks. Around the bed. and inside the bed is stained white pine. The 20" Lexani wheels are beautiful and have no curb rash or scratches. All four tires have good tread. the rear tires are slightly taller than the fronts. to give it that muscle-truck look. The exhaust has a good tone. but is also fairly quiet. When cruising down the freeway. it is very quiet in the cab. The interior is also very nice. and shows little sign of wear. Bucket seats. Hurst shift knob. and a nice AM/FM/CD/MP3 player make driving this truck a privilege. The instrument panel has a full set of gauges. It is a fun and easy to drive truck. It has power steering. power brakes. A. C. airbags. cruise control and tilt. The driver's seat has a small flaw on the side bolster. about 3/8" of an inch in length. The dash has always had a cover on it. so beneath the cover it is non faded and new looking. The windshield does have a crack and will be replaced on Tues 2/24. You will not find another truck like this. For a fraction of the cost of a 1978 Lil' Red Express. you can have this 1 of 1 custom built "20th anniversary Lil' Red Express"Dakota. that is a stunning representation of what really makes these Mopar muscle trucks. a Lil' Red Express.
