Description

This Dakota is in very good - excellent condition. This is a pretty rare version with its V8 Magnum engine that has plenty of power for anything you need it to do. It is the perfect size truck for anything you need to do without being too big to park. This is a full four door truck so whether you are fitting a baby seat, childrenor full size adults in theback there is plenty of room to accomadate. This truck is perfect for the owner who needs a powerful truck to haul stuff around but does not need something as big as Ram 1500, Silverado or F150. The truck has V8power and features convenient storage options under the fold up back seat as shown in the photos. The stow and go crates are removable or callapsible under the split folding rear seat and make transporting items very convenient. They are removable so if you need to take out your items they simply snap out and can be carried like milk crates. I did not tow anything with the truck and my understanding was that the original owner only towed a light pop up trailer and canoe with the truck so it has not been driven hard and was very well maintained as evidenced by the photos and maintenance history. This truckwas meticulously maintained by the previous owner and I kept up the same regimen and then some. The following is a list of items replaced in addition to regular dealer oil changes. All maintenance and repairs are documented with receipts from Dodge dealers or the history printout from the dealer when I bought itin October 2013 from the original dealer who sold it to the first owner. @42912: Left lower balljoint, both front struts, left caliper, front rotors and pads @48145:Throttle body replaced, top row spark plugs @48383: Steering rack replaced, wheel alignment @48869: All brake lines in engine compartment area replaced (common problem of rust/rot) @52287:PCV valve, rear shocks, front stabilizer links, front hub bearings @53616: Rear differential rebuilt @55106: BatteryYou will note from the photos that the truck is sporting the TRX wheel opening flares. I ordered them directly from the dealer when I purchased the truck as preowned from Keene CJD in New Hampshire. I then installed them myself when they were sent to me. I also ordered the weathertech floor mats when I bought the truck and confess I am a little obsessive with cleanliness in the truck as you will note in the photos that the weathertechs have floor mats under them to fill in areas I felt needed to be protected beyond where the weathertechs covered.I am a fanatic about maintenance so in any instance of a possibility of there being an issue the truck was immediately brought in for service or review to determine if there was a need for service.I took the spareout from underneath the truck when I got it and cleanedthe wheel and tire. Also, since taking ownership in 2013, Itake the spare out before the winter and lay it in the bed so it does not get all dirty hanging under the truck. That said, the wheel and tire are both PERFECT and the spare has never been mounted on the truck or otherwise driven on. The undercarraige is very clean and again is a testament to my being a fanatic about maintenance and care. During the winter after driving in the snow I take the truck to the self serve car wash and power wash the undercarraige and spray everything with WD40. I havesprayed an anti rust oil/film up into the rear quarter panel/wheel well areas to prevent any water from sitting/condensing over the wheel wells and causing the eventual rust that plagues so many Dodge trucks. I also sprayed chassis paint on the inside lower areas of the rear quarters to prevent any dings from rocks getting kicked up. Finally, I have a car issued to me for work so this truck does not see daily commute use. The truck comes with a transferable 7/70 "Added Plus" warranty that expires April 18, 2017 or 70kmiles with pretty much everything covered. I do still drive the truck so the mileage will vary from that listed above. The truck is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction if it sells. NADA puts a value of around $19k on this truck; this is an opportunity to get a great truck at far less than a dealer would offer and it comes with a warranty that I already paid for! Please send any questions you have and bid with confidence that this truck will not disappoint. Thank you for looking and be well...
