I bought this truck for short hauls to pull our single car trailer. I had used a 2006 Ram 2500, which is now in in our inventory for sale and I loved its reliability and fuel economy, it was just time to upgrade to a newer truck. I compared this 2015 Ram EcoDiesel to the Chevy and Ford gas/hybrid engines, since they all sell for about the same price. The Ram Ecodiesel gets 6-10mpg better fuel economy and of course the diesel engine will last 2 or 3 times longer than the gas engines. The Ecodiesel will also haul up to 9,210lbs so is perfect for a work truck or a daily driver getting nearly 30mpg. Not to mention this truck is loaded with backup camera, the chrome package (bumpers & door handles), navigation, moonroof, and power sliding rear window making it one of the nicest trucks I've ever driven. The choice was easy for me.
