1971 Dodge Charger SE triple black TX-9 code. Bucket seats, center console, ralley dash. laser straight & solid body, all original sheet metal.
9,000 miles on rebuilt matching numbers 383 Magnum. I have the matching numbers heads that will come with the car, but what is on it now are a pair of Edelbrock Performance Aluminum heads. Edelbrock aluminum intake & Edelbrock Carburetor. Hooker Super Compheaders, It has a performance cam, but I'm not sure about the details on it. The 727 Automatic has a stall converter to match. The engine has receipts showing all work completed with a total of 12,600 dollars spent. There are receiptsshowing another 3,300 worth of suspension, steering & brake work done about the same time. Sure grip rear end. Mechanically this car is solid. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.
The body is very solid. The undercarriage is clean & rust free. It has never needed to have quarters replaced or any other patch work. The cowl is clean & drains like it should. The paint is a deep gloss black. The front & rear bumpers have beenre-chromed&reflectlike mirrors.
The interior looks very good. It was redone about 15 years ago, asidefrom missing a few button caps on the seats, it's in great shape.
The car has factory air conditioning & all the components are there, but it's not working. The flip up headlights have to be turned up manually b/c the electric motor isn't working. The front tires are a little too wide for the car & tend to scrub while making a fast & sharp turn. 4 wheel manual drum brakes. Power Steering.
This car is in very good condition & is an above average driver quality classic.
Call me with any questions. 252-619-8067 Thanks, Clay
