This van was remodelled from a conversion van to a camper by the first owner (I'm the third). The middle seats were removed and replaced with a sink/cabinet/microwave; carpet, a roof A/C unit, and a small hood vent were installed. Odometer's at 120XXX miles; this van is currently my daily driver, so I can give an updated reading upon request.
The good: Spare tire is good to go and there's a tow hitch on the back. All tires have a good amount of tread. No rust on the frame. New rear brakes and various minor repairs, clean title, and inspection runs until 3/17. All repair records have been kept. The captain seats are very comfortable for those long-distance trips.
The bad: The paint job is a little rough with some minor rust spots. Fuel gauge is broken - it swings down to empty at 3/4 a tank - I've been topping it off every 200-250 miles with no problems. No shocks. Cruise control is currently MIA. Reverse lights don't come on - I was quoted $85 + cost of bulbs to find and fix the short that's making lights pop; that'll need to be fixed to pass inspection come March.
I'm interested in trading this van for a 4WD truck in passable condition (willing to negotiate cash for vehicles slightly above and below the value of the van). If the barter is straight cash, I'm firm at $2000.
In-person transactions only. Thanks for looking.
