I bought this truck at 155,000 and rebuilt it after a small front end collision. I do a little body work and paint and repaired it myself. I love this truck it makes great power and manages 25-30 mpg Highway! Why Sell it? This is my 3rd truck and my 3rd cummins. I recently just built a 1966 Dodge truck on a 2001 cummins frame. Im looking to get something smaller for around town, and by that i mean a sports car.

Whats with the suspension? Well The truck ended up needing all new suspension I guess the previous owner never touched it. So being a welder I figured why not I had other vehicle to drive and started a big project. 1 month later I completed the build. the Long arms are 5’ long and reach the door seam. Built with Johnny joints on one end and bushings on the other and 2” 1/4 wall DOM they are Bullet Proof! and The articulation as well as Ride were greatly improved. The steering is the best of the best I have put it through its paces and trust it enough to let go of the steering wheel at 100mph. It drives straight as an arrow. Last but not least… No the Wheels DO NOT RUB even with the aggressive set up. Ive only felt rub at full flex.

Yes you Read correctly… The truck has Remote Start and no its not illegal because its a manual. The manufacturer Compustar made a system or protocol that has to be followed ignorer for the remote start to work. Basically you park, put the truck in neutral, engage the emergency brake and turn off the vehicle. the truck will only shut off if you exit the vehicle and shut the door. Its not as hard as it seems and is very worth it, especially in the winter! I have it set to turn off around 10 seconds or so after the door is shut that way it works as a turbo timer as well.

I commuted to Denver from Fort Collins at least once a week and would keep 80 mph around 2,000 rpm and the truck couldn't be happier at that speed. the 2,000 rpm point is the key to getting 25-30mpg.
