2000 Dodge Viper GTS

This is a one-owner Viper that was recently the victim of a hit & run. This is a well maintained car in a desirable color combination. and deserves to be repaired and put back on the road. The buyer will be only the second owner of this car. it is still on clean title to original owner. The accident will of course show up in a CarFax history. but the new owner will have a clear title and be the second owner. The car has been well maintained and the drivetrain is sound. The car recently pulled 445 RWHP during a Viper club dyno day at a local speed shop. so have confidence she runs well. The car is stock with a few common changes. these include the upgraded Alpine stereo system. MGW shift knob. smooth tubes and cat-back. As you can see in the pictures. the Corsa cat-back was damaged in the wreck and had to be cut off. it was dragging on the ground. The original exhaust does come with the car. Pictures are worth a thousand words and you will see that this is a very nice car that is not a salvage auction find. Issues with the car prior to the accident include; Drivers door switch for interior lights not working. wear on steering wheel leather. and the right headlight burned out the day of the accident. Everything else works like it should. The drivers side upper rail of the frame. which supports the rear bumper and body panels was bent in the wreck. The remainder of the frame appears undamaged and wheel measurement does not indicate any more serious frame damage. The car drives straight and does not pull. PLEASE NOTE. an entire Gen 2 frame does come with the car and is included with this auction. It is the buyers choice whether to repair the original frame rail or use a section from this complete frame in the repairs. but the complete frame is worth a few thousand $'s itself and is included. The frame was purchased by a local speed shop for a project that never got built and has never been used. It has unfortunately been stored outside and they come unpainted. so some prep and painting is needed before use.
