ShortMotorCompany. com This is a very clean 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 with the legendary 5. 9L "High Output" Cummins Turbo Diesel Engine. and the NV5600 6-Speed Manual Transmission Transmission. With this truck having the High Output version of the Cummins. that means it came from the factory with 305 Horsepower and 555 LB-FT of Torque. Backed by the cast iron NV5600 and only 111k miles on the truck. this is quite the opportunity. The combination of this engine and transmission makes for an incredibly reliable and powerful drivetrain. I just had this truck thoroughly checked out and serviced at the local diesel shop. All six fuel injectors were removed and tested. Three fuel injectors were found to be slightly outside of spec. so all three were replaced with brand new Bosch units. They also changed the oil and filter. replaced the air filter and fuel filter. replaced the right front hub bearing assembly. and replaced the front brake rotors and brake pads. In addition. I had brand new tires mounted and computer balanced. This truck needs absolutely nothing and is ready to be driven wherever you want to take it. This truck also has an overdrive unit from US Gear added to the 6-Speed NV5600. When engaged via the knob on the side of the factory transmission shifter. this extra overdrive drops the engine speed on the freeway by about 350 RPM. I have tended to not use it because it whines while it's engaged at freeway speed. The diesel shop says it is common for these units to make a whining noise like this at high speed. The noise seems a little bothersome to me so I just leave it alone. but I wanted to point that out to the buyer. The interior is very clean. Everything looks excellent and the upholstery is all in excellent condition. No smells. Never smoked in. Everything works perfect. There is one very small crack on the far passenger side of the dash. but that's it. The A/C is ice cold and the Heat is hot. All power options work great. This is a very clean truck. The exterior is also in good condition. Texas truck since new. No rust anywhere top or bottom. The paint shines excellent. I've included close-up pictures of all the imperfections I can find. Most notably. there is some hail damage on the roof. and there are a few very light and very tiny hail dings on the front fenders. As you can see from the pictures. overall it looks excellent.
