1966 Dodge Polara, California Car

Please note. the oil slick int he photos are not from this car. the Polara is kept in the garage. the vehicle does drip about a teaspoon of oil a year which is nil for an old car. Here we have a 1966 Dodge Polara in the vintage Teal with a Teal/Black interior. in good overall condition. This is Polara with the Styling and iconic Dodge look of the 1960's. This car is truly simplistic and enjoyable. everything you want in a Classic Car. This is a reasonably clean and straight example of these cars. The car does run and drives. and is complete down to the original hub caps. The 383 Big Block engine runs very strong without hesitation. The body is in good shape. There are the usual small scratches here and there. and some flaky paint. but all are minor and easily repairable and they do not take much away from the elegance and presence of this classically styled car. All the glass is intact. and the chrome trim is in good shape as well. The interior is in good overall condition with some minor issues with the front seat. this is an easy fix (new spring). The door panels. the dash and the headliner are all in good condition. Its a very cool and truly time simplified cabin that has one purpose to drive down the road. no distraction with buzzers and bells. We were very impressed with the condition of the car underneath. The floors and frame rails are in great shape. there are a couple of spots that have minor surface rust. these can be fixed with a wire brush. This is a highly original. solid car. making it a great candidate for long-term investment and enjoyment.
