1982 Dodge Power Ram 4x4 Royal SE 4-Speed W150 Reasonable Rides and Rods presents this 1982 Dodge Power Ram 4x4 for your consideration. This truck has undergone a semi-restoration and is in incredible condition. If you are a fan of the old Ram trucks. this is the one for you. Body and Paint This Ram had the bed and cab removed and was blasted to bare metal before receiving a total repaint. This Ram is rust free. The paint is extremely nice and no detail was overlooked. The jams. doors. and engine compartment were blasted and painted to match the exterior. The frame was treated with Por15 and is in great condition. A ‘70’s bird bath hood was added with Power Wagon script. All of the panels line up great and the doors. hood and tailgate open and close great. All new weatherstrip was installed after paint. The truck has a LED headlight upgrade. new grill. new front bumper. new mirrors and a roll pan in the rear. The black Mopar stripe was added for accent. Engine and Trans Equipped with a 318 and a two barrel carb. this truck runs outstanding. The engine does not leak and starts on the first turn of the key. The engine runs cool and has great oil pressure. The engine has great power and has a fairly new dual exhaust system that sounds great. As you can see from the engine compartment pics. everything is very original and presents itself well. The transmission is a 4 speed manual and the clutch is strong. The trans does not leak and performs flawlessly. Suspension/4WD/Brakes/Tires and wheels The suspension on this truck is tight and it tracks down the road great. Even at highway speeds. this truck drives great. The 4WD with manual hubs works great. Although this truck hasn’t been off-road since completion. it would make a great off-road vehicle. This Ram is equipped with power steering and power brakes. making it easy to drive. It has all new e-brake cables. new calipers. rotors. pads and brake hoses. It stops great and there is no pulling one direction or the other. This Ram rides on really nice old slot mag wheels with 31x10. 5x15 tires. The tires are in good condition and have quite a bit of miles left on them. Interior The interior of this truck is in great condition. Everything works on the dash and the dash pad is in great condition. It had a new carpet kit installed after paint and there is a cover on the seat. The original seat material underneath is not bad. but the side bolsters have some cracking. The seat cover matches the interior well. so we have not replaced it. All other interior components are in good shape. but the door panels do have some wear. Overall. the interior is in great condition. Overall Evaluation While we wouldn’t call this truck a total restoration. it has had extensive work done to it to make it a very nice truck. All switches. lights. and electrical work as it should. The paint presentation is outstanding. The engine. trans. brakes and suspension all work flawlessly. This Ram was originally equipped with AC. but the compressor. condenser. and hoses are missing. All other components are there and the AC could easily be added back to the truck. This is a no-excuses truck and could definitely be used as a daily driver.
