1970 Ferrari 365GTB4 Daytona. (13687) commonly referred as a “CUT CAR” A factory Daytona that started life out as a coupe and was professionally made into a convertible in Italy by Scaglietti. The red car that is for sale here was purchased in 1986 out of Switzerland for the sum of $680. 00. 00 by Mr. Bob Pond a Car enthusiast and collector. at the time of purchase the car had aprox 2800 Kilometers. the car was shipped to the United States and converted or Federalized for use and a US title was obtained in the state of Minnesota. this is where Mr. Pond had a dealer license to inventory his over 100 car collection. The car was never in Minnesota. his collection was kept in Palm Springs California. The car currently shows 3288 Kilometers. It is located in Southern California. There are 120 photos of the car from every angle. top to bottom. The exterior of the car is finished very nice. the paint is deep and there are no scratches. dings or dents to the body. all chrome is very presentable as well as all of the trim and bright work. door jams. under the doors. hood. and rear trunk also carry an excellent finish to paint. rubber trim is not dried out or cracking. The tan soft top fits tight and the rear window is not soiled or dried out. headliner and top frame in excellent shape. The car sits on Boranni wire wheels with Pirelli P6 tires. Interior of the car is finished in a light tan w red inserts. seats are in excellent condition. carpet. dash and door panels also in the same wonderful shape. Power windows. radio delete. All gauges. lights. and horn working correct. Trunk is excellent condition and carries a Cromodora spare tire. Tool roll w tools. emergency triangle in the box. and tonnea cover for when the top is down. Mechancally the car runs out nice. excellent oil pressure. recent valve adjustment and carb rebuild as well as all fluids being changed. Clutch engages nicely and all syncros are smooth. I Have no history of the motor being rebuilt or any other services being performed. Mr. Pond had a full time Mechanic that kept all of his over 100 cars serviced so he could just get in the one of his choice and enjoy it. Suspension is good as well as the braking system. Exhaust system is not rotted and the under carriage is seen in the photos.
