The example on offer here, IN # was delivered on 2/19/2009 to its first and only owner via Miller Motor Cars of Greenwich, T. The original window sticker shows this Scuderia as being delivered in Mirabeau Blue over Black with 3 options: Bluetooth For Mobile Phone, rake Calibers In Yellow, nd Handly Fire Extinguisher. The total MSRP was $292,685.00 + Taxes and related fees. From new this example has been extremely well kept in a prominent North East collection and always serviced at Miller Motor Cars from new. No doubt totally in order with records.

The cosmetic condition of this car is that of a nearly new example. While 4,200 miles is not a lot of distance traveled from new, hen done at very high speeds it can prove one or two of the minutest blemishes. Our only complaint is that of the rocker panels. Just behind the front wheels we have noticed some chips from high-speed travel kicking up the smallest of road debris, hich can act as a sand-blaster when traveling fast enough. The blemishes are hardly noticeable unless closely inspected and are likely present on most other examples that have been used. In the interest of full-disclosure, his is worth mentioning though unlikely that it needs to be addressed. Otherwise the car is impeccable. A 3M clear bra has been attached to the front bumper, art of the hood, ockers, nd A-Pillars as well. The car has been inspected with a paint meter and we have found absolutely no paintwork at all whatsoever. Additionally the car has a clean carfax and no history of any issues of any kind. The glass is also free of any sort of chips or cracks and all lighting is in excellent order with the exception of the headlights, hich have the common crazing in the plastic. It is an unfortunate factory defect that both Enzo’s and 430’s share. There is one very small pencil sized chip on the front of the hood and one small scuff on the rear venturi on the carbon fiber. The wheels are in excellent condition and the rubber still supple and within spec to be enjoyed.

Entering the interior one can immediately note the spartan appearance and lack of comfort items. All perfectly suited for the performance oriented driver, ocused on what’s important; driving. The interior is new throughout with the only blemishes worthy of noting are that of some light scuffing to the carbon fiber sill where the driver’s foot may braise getting in and out of the car and lower front of the door panel. It will likely buff out and is of no real concern. As such it is also the only item that can be found as a fault. The rest of the interior is new. The engine bay and front trunk are both self explanatory, oth functional, ew, nd without any issues noted.

Driving the 430 Scuderia is an experience that will take even experienced drivers by surprise. Ensuring the Manitino dial to a safe setting will prove useful for initial understanding of what this car can do. It starts abruptly but idles smoothly and is quick to respond to even the slightest movement of the right foot. The clutch works flawlessly with only 4,200 miles it likely still has 75%+ life left. As the red dots on the steering wheel increase it becomes apparent that the 430 Scuderia is just plain too fast for any sort of road use and so a membership to the new custodian’s local track should be considered. The brakes are brutal and fade free thanks to their carbon ceramic makeup and all other systems in the car function without hesitation or issue. In short, t’s a new car through and through, fast one, ut new without any mechanical issues of any type.

It takes some statistics, omparative analysis, bit of math, nd of course some faith in the market, ut the Ferrari 430 Scuderia should be considered a speculative contemporary investment; An investment that has the right elements to stack up against the current progressive price trends of the 355 Challenge and 360 Challenge Stradale.
