Ferrari of San Francisco is pleased to represent for the second time, the most spectacular 458 Speciale Aperta in Giallo Triplo Strato with Nero Stallato racing livery.

As a one-owner car, originally purchased here, the car was meticulously designed in our Atelier department in preparation of the very special allocation granted directly by Ferrari to one of Ferrari of San Francisco's premier clients.

Giallo Triplo Strato is a three-layer paint process that takes the car to a new level. When the rays of the sun hit the opalescent under coat, the paint comes alive and pulses like the sun. See the car in motion and the paint dances like fire on ice. The subtle but distinguishing difference between a standard Nero (black) stripe and Nero Stallato (Black Star) is impressive. Metallic flakes of silvers and blues buried deep in the paint give the livery a three-dimensional quality as if one is peering into deep space, seeing light from stars long ago.

Summon this 458 Speciale Aperta to life with the press of the START button on Ferrari's F-1 derived carbon fiber steering wheel and the veracity of its aggressive nature demands attention, threatening to assault all the senses. Quite possibly Ferrari's last naturally aspirated V-8, this severely limited production is destined to become a collector's item of the highest magnitude in the near future.

Limited to just 499 units destined for Ferrari collectors, the 458 Speciale A is the most powerful Spider in Ferrari's long and storied history, marrying extreme performance with the sublime pleasure of open-top driving. Its aluminum retractable hard-top actually reduces this model's weight compared to the Speciale coupe by 110 pounds. The folding top completes the cycle in a scant 14 seconds, making the transformation from coupe to spider possible even while waiting at a stoplight.

The 458 Speciale A sports the most powerful naturally-aspirated road-going V8 engine ever built by Ferrari with a massive 597 hp at 9000 rpm. A special plaque in the cockpit commemorates three International Best Performance Engine awards won by the powerplant.
