Up for auction is my 1985 Ferrari Mondial Quattrovalvole 3. 0 L DOHC 5 speed manual 4 seat sunroof coupe in Ferrari Rossi Red with only 54. 15 original miles. The car has always been garage kept and has zero rust. As you can see from the pictures the exterior and interior of the car is in excellent condition. The leather is soft and comfortable and the seats front and rear are well proportioned for long distance driving. The clutch was replaced a year ago and the car shifts as designed. All fluids have been replaced on a regular basis as required. This includes. coolant. brakes. gear oil for transmission and engine oil. All filters have been replaced on a regular basis and as required and this includes the air filter. oil filter and fuel filter. The timing belt was replaced at the 25. 00 mile service but needs to be replaced again as the car has reached the time and need for the 50. 00 mile service as is required for this type of car. The car starts right up. drives and shifts with no issues but as stated it is time for the 50. 00 mile service which is why the price point is where it is. The 50. 00 mile service is something all Ferrari buyers will know about regarding cars of this time period. What it entails. if you are unaware. can easily be found out by doing a Google search and you can then see what is required by reading the information out on the Ferrari Owners Forums. The following issues exist on the car:1. Sunroof needs a new cable - this is a common Ferrari issue and the unit is a Mercedes Benz unit so the cable is not hard to get and have repaired. 2. The ignition switch has the normal over amp issue on the power side so although it starts the car each and every time the switch needs to be replaced at some point. Again this too is a common Ferrari issue from cars of this period. Otherwise the car is in good space with no electrical gremlins. It appears Ebay has a very hard time with the VIN numbers of certain European cars and Ferrari's fit that bill so I could not get it in the VIN number to work in the required slot. The car has a clear Car Fax and as far as I can tell it has never been in an accident. The car is a really nice car but it needs the attention I noted above. SHIPPING & PAYMENT:A deposit of $1. 00 is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The balance is due within 3 days of the end of the auction.
