I've owned this Spider over 10 years and I'm coming to the realization that I will never get this car to the restoration point it deserves. Have driven it twice this summer, un ride, ut I really don't have time for it any more. Had roughly 67,000 when I bought it, o you can see I don't drive it much.
Runs/drives fine. Tranny shifts fine. Replaced timing belt at 68,000. Needs body work (see pics) and paint as it was in rough shape when I bought it. I'm not a body guy but it's certainly better than it was. Leak in exhaust manifold. Needs top, ut top rack is fine (I never replaced because I only drove it in nice weather). Comes with hard top, hich also needs work. Tires and brakes are all good. Note cracks in seats and dashboard. No radio, ut hookup is there. Ball joints and tie rods replaced last year. Brake calipers and master cylinder replaced 9 years ago.
Starts right up if it hasn't been sitting for too long, therwise it takes a little time to get the gas up to the carb. Fuel pump is 3 years old. Cooling fan works the way it is supposed to.
Replacement shocks are in the trunk, pare points in the glovebox. See pics for details or feel free to ask questions.
Can probably drive it home depending how far or trailer, our choice. Selling as is due to age. Welcome to come check it out before auction end. FYI - This car is registered PA antique, f that matters to you.
