2012 Fiat 500c Pop (answers to the name AJ)

Back in 1965 I got my drivers license. Now why is this anything in an eBay ad posted in 2015? Well here’s my story. I was a sophomore in high school living near Bar Harbor, aine. I had been working after school for a while and saved some $$. So….. in stead of the practical thing… you know using your parents car I decided I would jump into the world of car ownership. I found a nice 1957 Fiat 500 in an estate sale for $50. Oh how I loved that car. Drove the wheels off…. literally and figuratively. Enter 2012 and Fiat was back in the states. It was only a matter of time before I purchased a modern version of the 500. So in 2013 I purchased AJ a 2012 pop 500C from Fiat of Clearwater in FL. Both my wife and I enjoy it greatly. It has become kind of our motorized bike rack. The funny thing for us over the past few years is the comment we receive about our “little” car. Ah, he jokes on them I say as AJ is clearly our “BIG” car the other being a smart fortwo. We were figuring we would own AJ for many years….

My big mistake was dropping into the Clearwater dealership a couple of weeks ago. On the showroom floor was a new Abarth C automatic… yes the years have finally caught up with me and after 45 years or so of driving stick the idea of an automatic with my knees …….by the time my wife and I got home I had I treat my Scorpion bite!!

Anyway the ending of my story is a 2015 Abarth C auto that answers to the name Adder is coming to home next week. So AJ needs a new one. I rarely trade in an auto as I prefer not to have to see it sitting on a lot. Autos need to be owned, oved and driven NOT lot sitters. The title and all paperwork, anuals, tc are in my possession.There was never a loan on him.

AJ is a one owner (me being it) 2012 Fiat 500C in Grigio (Grey) with Bordeaux (red) top and red seats. The only options on him are the 15” alloy wheels, true spare tire and a bike rack hitch. He currently has a little over 12,000 miles and in very good to mint condition always garaged. There are NO dings or dents or even paint flaws.He has not been back to the dealership as he has never required any warranty work. I have receipts for his oil changes (only used synthetic. I included a picture of the bike rack in use. The rack and bikes are NOT part of this auction. I have set a reserve of what the local AutoMax in Ocala will buy AJ for. But, truly dislike this option. The mileage listed will be greater as AJ loves to get out an play in the Florida sunshine. Plus he needs to get us to the local bike trail.

The successful high bidder will submit a $500 non-refundable deposit within 1 business day of the close of the auction to secure AJ. This can be done va paypal. The adopter agrees to pay remaining balance due within 7 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions and clearing of the same must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.

Fees and Taxes:

You will be responsible for all state, ounty, ity taxes and fees,transportation costs, s well as title/registration fees in the state that the AJ will be registered.

I have been asked about him being offered for sale locally. Please rest assured that once the reserve is met I will NOT sell him locally. Only a few people in my community currently know that AJ is up for adoption. He has been yet been listed on Craig's List or any place outside of eBay. Also I will NOT end the auction for someone's offer. I have been involved with eBay since 99 and have a 100% feedback rating as both a buyer and seller. I have been on the receiving end of an auction I have been interested in only to find out it was sold outside of the venue without notice. Bummer.
