1984 MB 300 D

Original Florida car from 1984 – 2015 where it was garage kept, nd for many years in a climate-controlled garage. As evidenced with the low miles, he car was driven sparingly. This W123 Turbodiesel is known for its legendary durability and simplicity. It is a very solid, pecial car which can go the long distance; for many easily to 500K miles. The undercarriage is very clean and rust free as a result of its being a Florida car.
There’s no question that this is one of the best cars Mercedes-Benz ever built. The W123 model is becoming increasingly sought after, nd difficult to find, specially with low original miles and in original and unrestored condition.
The Palomino MB tex interior is in great shape. There is some fading of the seat color that can be easily refreshed with factory dye should you want a weekend project. The AC blows really cold; heat works well as does the automatic climate control. The original Becker radio works great, oo. The sunroof is fantastic and the ceiling is spotless. Literally spotless. Looks new. All chrome pieces intact. The paint is exceptional and almost looks new. I'm not a mechanic or dealer but I would guess it had some minor touch up paint once. Very tough to tell though as it truly does look exceptional.

A couple of items that could use attention:a) both rear windows are slow to go down and even slower to go back up b) there is slight peeling from age of the Zebrano wood in a couple locations and c) the glove box latch finicky Also, he door locks work intermittently; the compression variant might need to be adjusted.
The reserve price is lower than the NADA pricing guide’s average retail.
