1969 Fiat 600. No reserve. This vehicle was purchased by me in Aachen, ermany in 2000 from a German Fiat enthusiast who told me he was the second owner of the vehicle. The car was partially restored by the second owner sometime in the 1990s (i.e., ossibly fresh exterior paint and new rubber around the front and rear windows, ew seat or recovered seats, tc.). Mileage is unknown (although the odometer currently reads 20,836 km). This vehicle has always been garaged since I purchased it. A few months ago I had the engine completely gone through and totally rebuilt by Shade Tree Enginetrics of Nevada, exas (probably the premier vintage Fiat engine rebuilder in the USA). While an engine rebuild was not required, t was done to ensure this car would be in good running condition for its next 50 years of life (and while parts are still readily available). The engine rebuild included boiling of the block, esurfacing and bead blasting of the head, ew pistons, ew valves and springs, ew water pump, ew fuel pump and filter, ew clutch, ew pressure plate, ew engine seals, ew hoses, ew points and condenser, ew distributor cap and rotor, nd other new parts. Many old parts were saved (e.g, he pistons and water pump). The crankshaft, ods, istons and flywheel were balanced and coated for good measure. The radiator was cored, oiled and pressure tested. A car jacket, wo sets of floor mats, spare set of wheels and tires, epair and other manuals, nd many spare parts (including a new carburetor and new coil) are included (see photos). In view of the many parts and spares being provided with the vehicle, he seller will not take the considerable amount of time that would be required to itemize each such part or spare. Instead, otential buyers are respectfully referred to the photos and this text for this information. Since the engine rebuild, pproximately 200 miles have been put on the car. All brake lines have recently been bled, nd the transmission fluid changed. A new transmission rear seal and bearing was installed when the engine was reinstalled. There are a few small niggling details remaining for the new owner to take care of: One of the seals for the rear axle appears to have a tiny leak of transmission fluid, nd one of the front wing window latches needs to be re-glued. There is no rust anywhere on the body that I can find (see photos). A lot of money, ime and love have been spent on this car, nd it is undoubtedly one of the finer examples of a Fiat 600 in the USA.
