1978 FIAT 124 SPIDER, RESTO MOD, PERFORMANCE 2L MOTOR, HOT ROD!

You are bidding on a 1978 Fiat 124 Spider. The vehicle underwent a resto-mod several years ago and is only being offered for sale because the owner has lost his job and is forced to sell the car. This Fiat features a performance 2L engine with street performance cams, 38DGES carburetor, header and 2 1/4 exhaust system, 95 amp alternator, oversized aluminum radiator and Computronix DIS ignition system.The entire exhaust system isceramic coated and polished. The Spider also has lowering springs and a Big Brake Kit on the front along with 15x7.5 Monza wheels. Fog lights have been added to the grille. The transmission features a short shifter. The engine has been dyno'ed with a result of 125hp. Mechanically the car is in very good condition and is very fast.

The interior also features a wind break behind the seats and a roll bar. The interior features a CD player with amp, custom kick panels that each house 2 speakers.

The only problem with the car is that the clear coat on the paint has started to peel on the hood and deck lid. Both left and right rear wheel arches have small rust bubbles.

Currently the car is not Calif emission legal due to a missing Air Injection Pump and an air cleaner that is not stock. Any buyer that intends to register the car in Calif is responsible for making it emission legal. The remaining emission equipment is in place, including the catalytic converter
