Here’s a nice find: This 1982 Fiat 2000 Spider (124 Sport Spider) is in very good condition and it runs fantastic. This classic Fiat is fun to drive, and it’s an inexpensive way of getting into the world of car collecting. It’s a great conversation starter whether you’re at a local meet or just out for a drive. This is not a “perfect condition” show winner, buts it’s a very nice driver that has obviously been well cared for and maintained. The 2.0-liter fuel-injected motor starts right up, and its mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox that shifts perfectly. The body is straight, and there is no visible rust. The paint looks good, but it does look like the car may have had some paint work done.Inside, the seats are very nice with no holes or tears, and the door panels and wood dash are also impressive. The top is in very good shape overall, but there are a couple of cracks where the top meets the real plastic window. The car comes with a top cover (3 of them, actually) and there are a few spare parts and a service manual in the trunk.Whether you’re looking for an inexpensive collectible or just want to have a fun-to-drive convertible to cruise around in, this car will fill the bill.Call Jim at 954-298-5315 or John at 954-515-6409
