This car has been owned by the same owner since 1986 and has records dating back to then. This car was repainted to a brilliant red in 1991. The paint is still in very good condition thanks to the garage-care conditions. This car is showing just over 72. 27 miles and this is believed original to the car. At 72. 21 miles. the transmission was rebuilt along with the engine (long block). New hoses were installed along with new belts. fuel pump. water pump. harmonic balancer. etc. The battery was last replaced in June of 2014. This is a good solid driving car and will make someone an excellent driver. There are some minor cosmetic issues to address such as the factory steering wheel showing wear and carpeting having some fade. This will make someone a nice car just as it is. The paint and body are in very good condition with only minor imperfections on closer inspection. The body is straight throughout. The doors. trunk and hood align correctly. Under the hood is the previously rebuilt smallblock Ford V8. This powerplant was last rebuilt less than 500 miles ago. in 2003. The car has been a lot of time garaged since then. The engine long block was rebuilt and standard components replaced as needed - water pump. starter. fuel pump. belts. hoses. etc. This car was originally equipped with an inline-6 cylinder engine. Further inspection of the engine compartment will confirm the original inner fenderwells and core support sheetmetal intact throughout as is the core support. The fender VIN stamping is clear as well. 1967 would showcase an extensive redesign on the 1st generation Mustang. This car rides on its factory 14-inch steel wheels & full wheelcovers. fitted with Pirelli whitewall radial tires @ 205/70R14s all around. The convertible top assembly is in very good condition inside and out. complimented with a seldom-used black convertible top boot. Open the doors to 1967. The interior showcases the standard black vinyl bucket seating. in good condition. The original date plate is also intact. This car displays both a color change and a complete drivetrain upgrade. It was originally a 6-cylinder equipped car with a 3-speed manual transmission. This is a Dallas. Texas DSO Mustang and remains in Dallas. Texas to this day. The factory dash and instruments are in good condition. An aftermarket JVC cassette stereo has been installed. We do have the original AM radio. The factory steering wheel is intact as well. showing wear. The gauges are functional as is the stereo. You can see a few bubbles beginning at the front lower edge of the passenger door (photographed). The undercarriage displays factory frame rails and flooring throughout. This is a dry climate Mustang and it shows. At 65. 47 miles. a complete brake job was performed with shoes. cylinders. and seals replaced.
