"What a beauty. " That's all I ever hear about this truck and it's true. You're not going to find a 1997 this clean. Heck. you're not going to find a 2007 this clean!! I was planning on keeping this forever but I just don't need a ¾ ton heavy duty diesel anymore so I'm going to offer this soon to be collectible up for sale. This truck contains the absolute best version of the 7. 3 liter Powerstroke diesel engine. No need for synthetic pee in this baby (that's what AdBlue or DEF fluid is). The automatic transmission was rebuilt by Longmont's BEST shop about 20. 00 miles ago. The transmission alone cost about $4000 (I paid an extra $400 for a billet torque converter which will greatly extend the life of the new tranny) and should be heavily considered when shopping for one of these. Virtually ALL need to be rebuilt between 125. 00 and 175. 00 miles even if the truck was never used to tow heavy loads. If you're looking at one of these for "book value" or less. and it doesn't have a new tranny. then be sure to budget an extra $4000 to $5000. Everything works. I mean everything. Every option and feature all the way down to the smallest of light bulbs. The two batteries were replaced last year. The Bridgestone Dueller AT tires are virtually new. This is a 1997 Ford F250 heavy duty XLT Supercab 4x4. It has 152. 00 miles. The soft tonneau cover can be used open. closed or taken off with two easy to turn handles. Power steps lower when the door opens and raise when you close it preventing any loss of ground clearance if you ever want to take this beast off-roading. The Ford flattened downpipe from the turbo was replaced with a round 3 or 3. 5 inch pipe. The stock hubs replaced with Warn hubs . The interior has no cracks. no stains. no rips and barely even wear and tear. I've kept up on maintenance and recalls. The truck has several newer parts (installed in the past few years) including the glow plugs and glow plug relay. belt. starter. fuel pump. batteries and more.
