I originally built it as a drag car and quickly realized I had no time to go drag racing. I work 135 mile round trip from home and decided to reconfigure the car so that it could effortlessly make the journey on 92 pump gas. The car drives and idles smooth as stock out of boost and with the 6 speed. it will cruise at 80mph at 1800rpm. I tend to average 17-18mpg. but I rarely keep off the throttle. The car is tuned to 15psi and the methanol kicks on at 8psi. With the boost control solenoid off. it will make 6psi off the wastegate. The car weighs in a 2860lbs and is extremely easy to work on. thanks to the removable front end. The fuel cell and battery have access hatches in the trunk so that it does not need to be removed for fill ups. As you can imagine. there is no heat or wipers and with the spool it wouldn't be a whole lot of fun to drive in the rain anyway. The sliders and vents do a good job of circulating air through car in the summer. Full disclosure. you will probably want to put a fresh 5. 3 in the car as this motor has a good amount of blowby from running it at higher boost without methanol toward the end of last year. Considering these are a whopping $300-500. it shouldn't be a put off. The videos below are all with the motor at it's current state so has still been reliable and pulls hard. The car was painted 3 years ago and looks nice. I drive it about 1. 00 miles a year so there are a few scratches here and there but nothing major. The pictures pretty much show everything and you can see fitting the T56 was a bit of a bear. I will not disclose reserve. but would entertain offers for a buy it now. If it doesn't sell. it doesn't sell. It is currently registered/insured/garaged in Connecticut. CT does not issue titles on cars older than 25 years old so it will be sold with a copy of the registration and a bill of sale. All states will honor this although some may request a notarized letter. I have no problem working with a potential buyer on any required documentation. As with any car like this. its sold as-is. where-is. If you have a question. or are unsure of something. ask before bidding as the sale is final. More build pics can be seen on instagram #666stang
